This Privacy Policy explains how ChaosID collects, uses and protects the personal data of users of the website chaosid.shop, in accordance with the GDPR and applicable French laws.

We only collect the data necessary for the operation of the store:

  • First and last name

  • Payment information (handled only by secure payment providers)

No sensitive data is collected.

3. No tracking or advertising tools

ChaosID does not use any advertising tracking tools. No Google Analytics, no invasive collection, no tracking pixels. We refuse technologies designed for profiling or intrusive marketing.

The site only uses technical cookies that are essential for Shopify (cart, session, language, security).

4. Order-related data (Shopify)

Our store is operated by Shopify Inc. Shopify processes the data required for hosting, payment, security and fraud prevention. Servers may be located in Canada or elsewhere. Shopify applies Standard Contractual Clauses in compliance with the GDPR.

5. Production and shipping (Gelato)

Orders are printed and shipped by Gelato, which only receives the information necessary to produce and deliver the products:

  • First and last name
  • Shipping address
  • Product ordered

Gelato does not use this data for any other purpose.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments or PayPal. ChaosID never has access to your card numbers. These payment providers apply their own privacy policies.

7. Purposes of processing

The data collected is used solely to:

  • process and ship orders
  • provide customer service
  • comply with legal obligations (billing, accounting)

Newsletters are only sent to users who have explicitly subscribed.

8. Data retention

  • Order-related data: 10 years (legal requirement)
  • Customer support emails: up to 3 years
  • Shopify customer account: kept as long as it remains active

10. Data sharing

Your data is never sold. It is only shared with:

  • Shopify (hosting, orders, security)
  • Gelato (production and shipping)
